The SECAM Department of Justice, Peace and Development, inspired by the Gospel and Social Teaching of the Church, values of human dignity, equity, common good, solidarity and integrity of creation, commits itself to awakening of God's people to their evangelical responsibility in defense and promotion of human dignity through conscientization, advocacy, lobbying and solidarity in  co-operation with other organizations in Africa and outside Africa
